A large part of Exeter city centre has been cordoned off and evacuated after two suspicious packages were discovered earlier this morning.
King William Street Car Park and John Lewis Car Park are also now closed.
Unconfirmed explosion have suggested that a controlled explosion has taken place at the site of a bomb scare in Exeter.
Police have now confirmed that the two suspicious devices discovered this morning in Exeter city centre have now been made safe.
These devices were assessed by bomb disposal experts after they were found on York Road and King William Street in Exeter today.
