I like living in Dawlish, but there are certainly some funny decisions taking place. I expect i will be knocked by the ghastly deacon chap, but i've more important things to see to (cooking tea)
I see now why peopl have been saying what they say about this deacon man. I'm not getting involved he sounds pathetic

Why are there so many dodgy things happening in our Dawlish? So much for a picture postcard seaside town, it's more like a den of iniquity.
Moved to Paradise 33 years ago its called Dawlish, yes its got its faults but wouldnt swop it for anywhere
Had quick look on net can only find one hotel the Langstone Cliff and 6 b&b in Dawlish
not sure about the viability, but guest houses are in short supply here. My sister got married last summer some of the guest came from miles away, we couldnt get accomodation for them 10 months in advance. There is a lot of good about Dawlish its the minority who whinge
Councillors get paid an allowance and expenses. Its the district council who take the bulk of "local tax "oh I mean council tax. Councils are wasting money all over the country. Here in Devon we have above average council tax (and water rates).Bin collections cut back and we pay more for the privilage Councils want luxury offices with expensive art work and the managers extended expensive paid lunches.
