They are re-tiling the pool and upgrading the filtration along with other things. I understand it is opening again Monday 9 September. A very interesting meeting tonight at Gatehouse School. It was great to hear from other parents who have a very good handle on what the issues are in the school. I hope the governers and teaching staff take on board some of the suggestions. The deputy head however did herself no favours and came across very arrogantly. I think I'll mark her as 'inadequate' as per the new Ofsted markings. ...
I wonder what the cycle route will be. It would be fantastic if they made the steps down onto Beach Street into a slope for pedestrians and cyclists. It would be ideal for wheelschairs rather risking life and limb crossing over to the Jet Garage. Much safer.

i had hoped this wasn't true @leatash as my child is going to dcc in september. gutted.
I hadn't realised the parking was going outside the Laundrette but I think getting at David Force is unfair. No wonder he's stepping down as chairman. Interesting points made about whether the required road traffic orders had been applied for.
