Why has someone on this site named themselves after Joey Deacon, the spastic (terminology of the day) from Blue Peter? Are they still taking the mickey after all these years? He became a bit if a celeb in his time.

And that lovely green lung called Sandy Lane Playing Fields. The views from the top, up on the golf course, are spectacular - eastwards to the Exe Estuary and beyond, west as far as Berry Head. Breath taking.

imagine a Headline in 2009. "Skate park destroyed by arsonist" and it cost over ten times the play park in the Manor Grounds. Who is going to step forward and show respect for people and property. Respect for your elders will in turn be rewarded by all the help and effort they can muster as it is they who earn the money that is collected to fund many of your play items and other facilities. ...
