The Smugglers is the BEST by far. Great food at a PROPER price, not like the brewery, that is so OVERPRICED, and the drinks are also overpriced. What annoys me the most, is that when you approach it, the moron in front slows down to 30mph, and these people are local. DAWLISH...WAKE UP.... its set for 40, YES. 40 mph. Thats the penalty we have to pay for living in 'Gods Waiting Room'
Probably a Perigrine Falcon. They have been around, but 'dissapeared' a couple of years ago, but hopefully they may be back. A beautifull bird to watch.
I do agree with you. What purpose does the 'mayor' serve in Dawlish??? apart from giving there already inflated ego a boost.
Chairs/seats in pubs are for people, not dogs. I would be very annoyed if I was wearing nice clothes, sat on a chair that your mut had been sitting on, and found out my clothes were covered in dog hairs..Its also unhygenic..Well done to the landlord.
The big house on the left,(that used to be called Corries) going down the slope,as you are going out of Dawlish, just before St Marys Cottages. They have a sign 'guinea Pigs for sale'
go past salamis when there are people sitting in the window eating. Tinned peas, tinned carrots etc come to mind...
