I assure you I am far from being an idiot. Can't you participate in this forum without hurling around insults? If you have contacted the Co-op HQ about the service etc what response did you get?

Press Complaints Commission I believe is concerned with what is written in the press. I am talking about why this person was not shortlisted for a job when they seem to think they have should have been. Two entirely different things.

Freelance: Like I said - if you have good reason to think you should have been shortlisted ask the company why they didn't do so. If you are unhappy with the response you get you can always pursue the matter. (Or even, indeed, let us all know the response via these pages!)

And have you asked why that was? If you think you have been discriminated against for some (no good) reason then pursue the matter.

Okay, I'll go along with 'truth' being confused with self deceptions. In which case there are indeed ever so many 'truths' then, aren't there? And that brings us very neatly to just what IS 'the truth'. Anyone studied philosophy?

I am not a politician. The truth, whether you like it or not, is that there are many truths. Some people believe it is true there is a God. I do not. Others believe it's true that if they act as a suicide bomber they will immediately go to paradise whereupon 20 or so virgins will be there to greet them. I doubt that you believe that is true - but they do. This is not to say that Dawlish Town ...

THE truth eh? Now then, if one newspaper describes a group of people as terrorists and another paper describes the same group as freedom fighters who is telling the truth? If one newspaper states that, say, 50,000 people marched against the War in Iraq and another newspaper says it was 25,000 - which is telling the truth. I think there are many 'truths', don't you?
