A very happy christmas to the the webmaster. keep up the good work.
Does anyone know exactly where the new skate park is going to be situated? It looks pretty close to the back of Henty Avenue to me!
I often go over to the Co-op in Teignmouth because they have a little more than the Dawlish store and then i pop into the town because it's so close. Judging by the amount of Dawlish people i see i think many others do the same.
Which playground were you in? It definitely wasn't the same one as me. I did not once see any tesco representative act the bully. perhaps you were one of the bullies.
I went to the tesco consultation at the langstone cliff hotel and felt quite sorry for the tesco representative's . I could't beleive how calm they kept and handled the verbal shouting and behaviour of some of the older generation, shame on them it was like watching a lot of children fighting in the playground to get their own way.
Why not sandy lane? It's only the football pitches that tesco want and they are moving anyway. So then we will be left with a large open space for even more dog fouling. There will still be plenty of green area for children to excersice, but most of them seem to prefer sandy lane car park.
I agree, the weather was disappointing but take away the market and who would have thought it was approaching christmas. The strand looks dreary with only 2 christmas trees above their shop and one trader selling christmas trees but didn't even have one above his own shop! If the traders don't make an effort why on earth should we.
Just one question for Detestco? Are you sure it was a tesco questionnaire you were refering to because the one put though my door only had 3 questions to reply to.
I thought DADS had the majority of the local people on their side.So why the panic because tesco have delivered some pre-paid questionnaires to houses in Dawlish. Are they worried what the true percentage of people might want?
I went to Newton Abbot today to purchase an item i couldn't get locally and thought of calling into tesco on my way home, then i spotted a somerfield and called in to see what it had to offer. The shelves were well stocked and the staff very pleasant. What a contrast to our very sad co-op. YES WE ARE IN NEED OF A DECENT SUPERMARKET.
