Just thought i would share this message from Dawlish Neighbourhood Police. Over the last couple of weeks I have been receiving reports of dead seagulls being found with apparent shot wounds to them. Yesterday a shot fox was found placed in someone's vehicle in New Road Starcross & another shot seagull was found in New Road this morning. This has all been occurring at the junctions of Well ...
I took this photo of boat cove this afternoon.
The toilets have have been closed all week. Three coaches parked at the coach park, one driver just asked me where the nearest toilets where. I would have thought Teignbridge Council would have displayed a sign directing people to the nearest toilets, which are at the Leisure Centre.
Good to see hanging baskets and smart new bins.
Why on earth are the lights on at the Tennis Court at 10.30am?
Didn't Dawlish Community College receive a letter from Mr Clegg congratulating the school for being the best in the Westcountry?
Apparently the work will take longer than first thought. The contractors have said more of the wall needs to be removed to complete the safety works and extra scaffolding needs to be brought in. It could take a further three weeks. Devon County Council will not allow any more work to take place once the initial work is finished involving the road itself until the end of September.
It's a shame it's got to this level without being noticed. I agree whichever school the year 6 children will go to will find it hard. Parents must feel very let down!
