Can anyone explain why hundreds of dead crabs, bagged up on deck, are just left to rot? I know that these crabs would sell for £5 and up at the fish shop in Newton Abbot. It just seems such a waste to have caught them and then leave them to rot. It was the worst fishy smell I have ever experienced from the quay.

This is what has happened over the years with the numbers of police actually on the beat being cut and police stations being closed. When I was working on night shift down at the Warren on one of the caravan sites. There was a prolific peeping tom that frequented the caravan sites of an evening who camped in the woods. It's out of holiday season, but he may be making an early start for next year.

Now they are digging the same pavements up that had the slurry poured on them last month !

Thanks ZIGGY, I happened to come across the thread detailing the possible routes, although it seems that those in charge, have said the link between Teignmouth and Newton Abbot is a higher priority than the link between Dawlish and Teignmouth.
