@roberta I don't think it's anything to do with Dawlish United, the Marine bowling is on the other side and is seperated with a fence.
It doesn't usually look like this, maybe the contractors were in a rush. Bring back the boy's who used to keep the whole of the park etc in tip top condition and i bet their wages was no where near as much as these contractors.
Is this a new fashion, or a half price hedge cut.
The guys working there today were fantastic! Speaking to one of them he said it would have been nice to have seen a couple of councillors there so they could see the need for the much needed tip at the Shutterton. One lady i was speaking to said she didn't realise it was today until someone had told her she said it wasn't in this weeks Dawlish Gazette and she also asked the Information ...
Another section of the sea wall open. Good news for all who have missed that lovely walk.
I think it would be a good idea if this derelict building next to the play park at Sandy Lane was demolished and the play park extended. It would make more sense to have a decent play park in the area where you have the skate park and Leisure Centre and not in the middle of town!
@Mcjrpc dawlish has already got a skate park.
