and I've just taken a look at the Lib Dem manifesto for the local 2019 elections re the green bin charge. I can't see anything about the green bin charge being dropped as the manifesto clearly states that: A Lib Dem Council will freeze the garden waste bin charge for at least 2 years.

What the Lib Dem's have actually been saying is that the numbers being imposed on the district by central government are too high. I believe it's central government that determines how much housing needs to be built. So if you want to have a moan about that then Boris "Build,Build, Build" Johnson is the person you need to contact.

At the risk of being accused of not being patriotic (feel sure someone will accuse me of it) I agree that the future of this country is looking pretty grim and that's for a myriad of reasons. I just see a downward spiral. Hope that doesn't happen of course, but...... Why all this has happened/is happening/will happen I don't see as being necessarily the fault of those who live in this country ...

Notices are up saying that the seawall walk (Footpath No 7 Dawlish from Colannade underpass to Black Bridge and Footpath No 10 the whole length of the path except access to Coastguard Cottages) will be closed from Monday 7th September to Sunday 7th March 2021.
