Without question you should get a ticket if you block the road..to go shopping! Cars park outside Boots in Teignmouth in the loading bay and at the Bus Stop to go to Barclays bank. Why do car drivers think they rule ..BOOK THEM!!! why not?
I know many are interested in booking cars for illegal parking etc. Yesterday midday I was in Queen Street, Newton Abbot, as there was no parking space a chap parks in the middle of the road whilst the traffice waits as he goes for a pastie! I spotted a girlie PSO she guessed he was in the shop, she went after him. He ran out with his pastie! and said 'oh im sorry wasn't a minute' Question ..I ...
Had I been running one of the fair rides .. I would have put a sign up '£1 a go' and got some bums on seats as the power is running regardless..deserted does not look good. Who decides the Fair should come to Dawlish ..is it a in concrete thing and who wants it?..clearly locals and visitors dont.
Good! Has there ever been on the lawn something different on a Bank Holiday ..like a Vintage Car show, old buses or something alike? I bet there would be plenty of people around yesterday had there been and it would not be a noisy racket! If those monster fair trucks can get on the lawn so can anything else!
Walked over the lawn at 3.30 Bank Holiday Monday, the fair staff looked bored. Only the bouncy thingy and that up in the sky ride had people on. I wonder if visitors would prefer the lawn as we see it the rest of the year? I always thought they come to Dawlish to get away from all that noise, to be by the river and the peace. I dont think the fair shows Dawlish in the right light, but no doubt I ...
I agree Webmaster should remove..it is bad. You do not make your point when you need to stoop to that low level.

I think the Marquee and dodgems have swapped places this year. Last year I remember there was no fair at all behind the pavilion and near the bowls..I may be wrong but the fair looks as if its just been juggled around in position. I still think it is really stupid there is 'NOTHING' on the Carnival Website ...SO why have one?? http://www.dawlishcarnival.com/programme.htm
He doesnt realise he is going to get old one day.. that is IF todays youngens last that long..cant imagine what sort of old bids they will be with their attitudes.
