Just wondering if the helecopter is for filming doggers, what are the 50 grand + BMWs for. Could they be for rapid response to Ann Summers Parties. @ Don- Dont think our present council could manage such a difficult task, Their so called leader cant even answer a simple e-mailed question. Sorry just remembered I promised not to post on here any more
Nelson at it again hasent a clue what he's talking about but just has to disagree with everyone. The forecourt price has nothing to do with the retailer as they will try and keep competative if posible. The price is actually dictated by the supplier as part of the retailers agreement. In the case of MG that will be Texaco. Get your facts right or shut up as others have told you before
Ok fine have it your way, when you have no where else to buy your petrol and daily essentials other than the supermarkets and they charge you extortionate amounts of money for such dont come back on here moaning about the prices etc. The only morons are the ones that follow like sheep and support these retail monopolisers. Back in the 1920s The Sainsbury family grocers competed on equal terms with ...
Come on then chaps someone must know who the new face is by now Lynne get with it and find out
@Newtotown . the simple answer to your last point is money and lots of it. they have a whole team of development people who identify sites for new stores. they then go all out to get people on side by offering to improve the areas and sponsoring local events even to the extent where they infiltrate the schools with their promises and ideas. they then steamroller the local authorities by having a ...
@Nelson You really must live in a dim blinkered world if you believe in your comments above. Any one who has had experience of this particular builder outside of Dawlish, watches tv shows like cowboy builders etc, and knows quality when they see it, will undoubtably know they build cheap rubbish houses that you cant whip a cat round in with cheap fittings and fixtures (allthough in a colour of ...
According to an ad placed prior to Christmas there is a skip in Mannings yard full of large boxes which the owner said people are welcome to take as they wish, this sounded like a long term thing rather than a one off to empty the skip.
Its what Devon county and Teignbridge district councils want. At the last strand centre meeting both refused point blank to remove the on street parking charges or issue residents permits in support of local business. It appears they will bend over backwards to the demands of the Supermarket chains but do nothing for high street traders. At the end of the day its all about money, backhanders, ...
This topic seems to have found its way onto Eyes of Dawlish (facebook) very interesting comment regarding the cycle path money being better spent on Youth sport. Totally agree the paths in Dawlish which have already been instigated have very little use, look an absolute disgrace(replacing the grass verges and still we have to put up with the lycra clad half witts wobbling along the main road ...
Lynne - It could be you!!! why not ring the town clerk to find out then let us all know
