Hello all, just a quick request, does anyone nearby have any strongish cardboard boxes they are wanting to get rid of, perhaps a local business from items delivered. I will be between houses soon and need some to contain items going in to storage. Will check out supermarkets when there, but need to catch them before they send them to the crusher, they do not seem to leave them at the bottom of aisles like they used to in the "old days". Thanks
I am also moving and can suggest you check out Sainsburys, they have a sectioned off area as you leave the checkouts and they put all their boxes in their every day, a lot of wine boxes but you can pick and choose the best stuff, and of course they are free.
@lazlo - I have probably about 15-20 large cardboard removal boxes which you are welcome to have. I was going to put them on freecycle anyway. They are flatpacked so you'll need to reconstruct and tape them.
According to an ad placed prior to Christmas there is a skip in Mannings yard full of large boxes which the owner said people are welcome to take as they wish, this sounded like a long term thing rather than a one off to empty the skip.
Hello Neith,
Thanks for getting back, do you still have them and how can I get in touch?
Mugonhead, hi, where is Mannings yard please
