I look for the negative, do I? When I posted that info about the planning app for 2 Exeter Road I quite deliberately made no comment about it as I posted it as a matter of information. Relevant newspapers articles - as I have said before Brazilnut - if you are not interested in them then don't read them. Others maybe interested. So....400 or so people responded to the draft plan. Dawlish has a population of just under 14,000. Don't know how many are under 13 (I've said 13 as I understand the youth of the town were consulted about the plan as well as us adults) but that's still a lot of the population (thousands of 'em in fact) that didn't respond. That's not my fault or the fault of those that did respond, is it? ...
Did I say that I objected to this planning application? As far as I am concerned doing something about this particular house and the site it is on is long, long, overdue.
Anyone else notice that a planning application has been submitted to pull this house down and replace it with two detached houses. Planning ref 11/03105/FUL
I'm not against sustainable development. It's when i believe that what is being proposed is not sustainable or feasible that I object. Is there a qualifying period of residence then before those of us who have moved here are entitled to express our opinions? Why did I move here? For all sorts of reasons.
Hmmmm........I wonder where a lot of the people who will live in the new houses will come from? Elsewhere perhaps?
