@Carer You have your thinking all wrong people arent moaning, their trying to point something out to improve things for next time. Why do you not understand that the sound system at an outside live event is the most important part of the day. To get the ground coverage at a reasonable volume without feedback, distortion etc, you need proffesional equipment and a sound engineer who knows whats ...
Its all a town council ploy to stop the dissapointed hoilday makers going to Teignmouth to spend their money
Drove by at 7.00pm, didnt stop because the stage and sound system were pathetic and the strand was full of drunken kiddies. Such a shame cant wait for Teignmouth carnival week. Good luck to the RBL though hope you raised some much needed funds.
Why is the road being closed again, and is this going to be a regular occurance. All part of the councils preferance for pedestrianisation maybe. Speaking of councillors, watch them all turn up for the chance of getting their mugshots in the paper at Saturdays official opening like they have all done the work themselves. Then no doubt back up the Manor house for a slap up lunch paid for by the ...
Is the Strand going to be closed to traffic on Friday & Saturday if not why is no parking going to be allowed
Sorry I thought the blue badge itself had a 2hour restriction regardless of where it was being used, and that the sign over the disabled bay was just a reminder. Didnt they used to have a clock on them for that very purpose.
Having just carefully read the sign next to a disabled parking bay in Northumberland Place Teignmouth. It quite clearly reads 2 hours maximum with no return. Now assuming its TDC controlling both Teignmouth and Dawlish disabled parking, then there needs to be a like for like time restriction throughout or the system becomes open to miss-interpretation.
Apparentley the parking outside the Launderette is going to be the new Taxi rank. It seems Mr Force is getting the stick because the chamber of trade obviousely knew about this and kept it between themselves and the council. As mentioned it seems quite logical that if shopping ever returns to the town and most people are being forced to park on Barton Hill then the Taxi rank should be there to. ...
@Carer Funny you should mention that garage. Have just driven past and guess what? Their price has gone up 1p and the bank holiday is approaching. What you betting it goes up another 1p on Friday
Dont see whats wrong with people trying to make a living. Simple rule of life applies. Dont wanna pay, dont go. There's plenty other free boot sales. Newton race course, Exeter cattle market The Warren boot sale is aimed at the holiday makers, thats why its in the afternoon. Now dont tell me that businesses in Dawlish dont price to take advantage of the holiday trade.
