Wonder if they'll be nagged into changing the meat content of their products? Yeah or neigh?
@stephen15 - i don't know. i don't live in the town to notice.Perhaps someone else can tell you. I just happened to be a passenger in a car yesterday that was being driven along Queen Street and then The Strand and I just happened to notice the Christmas trees and lights. There were no festive lights on but whether that's because we are no longer in Christmas or because they don't work or what, ...
Since we've moved here we've often commented on how long it very often seems to be before banners and notices are removed after the event they are advertising has happened. What was not mentioned once in the whole debate and has not been mentioned in any of the media coverage so far, is what is planned for the likes of winter fuel allowance, free prescriptions, tv licences, free bus pass entitlements etc once this new state pension system comes into play in 2017. Just ...
Just been looking at various national papers concerning the latest on state pensions. Here's the Daily Mail's article. Read the comments underneath as well. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2261880/155-pension-boost-stay-home-mothers-incredibly-pro-family-says-Iain-Duncan-Smith.html and/or take a look at the BBC report and online comments. ...
This article is in today's Observer. As quite often with newspaper articles the really interesting arguments are at the bottom in the comment section. http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2013/jan/13/dont-take-up-free-travel-pass
