"Stick and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me". Which is utter bollocks because constant bullying via words have driven many people to suicide. Yeah, you can have freedom of speach but freedom doesn't mean without consequence!
F*ck off is dynamic aswell, it is universal. there are many people in this world that do not speak English, but you tell them to feck off, they know exactly what you mean. My mother always told me "Stick and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me".
Language is such a dynamic thing. For example, I wonder how long the word Remoaner has been in existence? And who invented it?
Before the referendum the terms hard and soft Brexit did not exist, it was just Brexit. They are an invention by Remoaners to try to dilute Brexit into a state of Remain. Personally, I prefer the term Sovereign Brexit.
@Scapegoat - love the unicorn/lame donkey comparison. They say a picture paints a thousand words and the imagery conjured up by that comparison says it all. Brilliant. Love it. Perhaps it should be put on the side of a coach that then tours the country.......... Why did you put the word majorty in quote marks? The majority who participated in the referendum clearly voted to leave.
