Does anyone know if any local car boot sales will be taking place this summer season? A few years back there were four a week (1x Tuesday morning at the Warren, 1x Thursday afternoon at Warren Farm, 1x Saturday morning at Starcross and 1x Sunday morning at the Warren) but three of those have since stopped operating, leaving just the Thursday afternoon one but now it seems even that has gone - ...

I'll hazard a guess that the vast majority of people who post on here, and those others who read but don't post on here, are over a certain age - let's say 40. To get back to the proposed pavilion and other works on the lawn. There is a meeting of the full town council tonight. Meeting starts at 7.00pm. It is open to the public. Believe the pavilion proposal and related issues are on the agenda.
