I couldn't agree with you more! Thanks Nelson & Northerner. We have made a pledge so we will try to make it happen. All of the money we raised so far (which the complainant had nothing to do with!) cannot be used. Sainsbury's are charging more than in say Exeter where there is more competition particularly on fuel but also in store. I reckon we'll see a reduction in prices once Morrison's opens in Teignmouth. I hope all Dawlishians remember how Sainsbury's bumped up prices until they had real competition!

RSLs don't automatically get HB/LHA paid directly to them UNLESS the tenant opts for this to happen.  SP Allowance, for those entitled, is paid directly to the RSL by DCC.

The badger cull

My understanding is that it is not known which way it is passed - i.e. from badgers to cattle or vice versa. I was also told by a farmer that our area (South of the M5) does not have bovine TB. Am against a cull until there is more evidence.

Re the Telegraph article. I think that's the first time I've seen 'get rid of worms' and 'good garden husbandry' in the same sentence!

They are people too! Just talk to them. Ask about their kids, work, private life, hobbies etc. I had one on the phone for 45 minutes before they finally hung up on me! Haven't had any calls since. ;-))

Thought that shop was now something to do with Oaklands or Ratcliffe School(s)?

I'm after a touring caravan, fairly big, to use as an office. Condition doesn't matter too much but price does!! (Must also have toilet!!!). Any suggestions greatfully received.
