@Lynne . i will happily ask questions and report back, but i anticipate hitting a confidentiality barrier if land negotiations are really involved. it's not an issue i've been involved with thus far, but i will enquire
Hooray! Work seems to have started on the wall at the bottom of Teignmouth Hill. I drove past a little earlier and they were busy on site. As promised, here below are the replies to the questions I posed to Devon County Council; so at least we all have hard facts about what has been happening and how long the work is expected to take (1) Who is responsible for mending the wall, Devon ...
@kenny I don't have that exact figure in front of me, but will find out and report back
Just to pass on information received in case anyone is concerned There has been damage to a weir in the Brook. Teignbridge will be attending to this The duty warden is satisfied that there is no danger to the waterfowl

It was Voices for Dawlish Councillors who lobbied hard after the May 2011 election to have the ...
The Town Centre Manager does just that. For Councillors to duplicate that process would I suspect just cause confusion. The proverbial too many cooks spoling the broth. Speaking personally, I shop regularly on the Strand and talk to traders all the time as a customer. I'd like to think that Jen and others know me well enough to raise any concerns they have.
The traders on the Strand are encouraged to raise any concerns they have about the construction work directly with the Project Manager or with the Town Centre Manager. the plans for the Strand works are available on the town council website. You can also ask to see them at the Libray and I expect that they are still available on the Devon County website. I've just looked again to check my facts, and the narrowing of the Strand at the crossing points is as shown on the plans
