Marvellous airshow this year. Thanks and appreciation to all those who put in the hard work to make it possibe. A pic of a Red Arrow, taken from my lounge balcony.

Get the local paper to run a story on this and we might just get a few extra visitors!

@Lynne - same thing happened in harrow, wealdstone around 15 years ago. 2 semi's were converted into a childrens home. this was in a quite back street amongst other residential homes. both properties had sizeable back gardens. which when combined formed a very large play area for the rugrats. only thing is they always played on the street/road rather than the back garden. i don't know many people ...

Young of today, old of tomorrow. The youth of today needs to seriously think about the decisions they allow their government to adopt today. Because tomorrow it is likely to bite them in the rear. It is to often that the young don't have any comprehension that all the old people walking around today were the children of decades gone by, scarey thought.

Why not go back to the good old days and build 100's of homes in one place and call it a housing association estate (in my day it was council estate because the local council actually ran it, sort of). Now wouldn't that resolve the issue of people not wanting to privately buy on an estate where there are housing association houses? It would also mean that you could move in large numbers of locals ...

Why not just stop all benefits? There problem solved. Now the government will have more money to waste on white elephants and themselves!

@warrior - i can only give my own opinion. in an ideal world were everyone helps each other rather than themselves and there is no criminality. the e.u mandates would be good. although the world is made up of a mix of humans, some who are kind and giving, those who wish to be left alone and then there are the predators. predators being criminals, multi nationals and certain governmentswho feed of ...
