@Daverc ..have to agree with you. Last time it was this natural and beautiful was during Iceland's volcanic eruption. That was a good 2 to 3 weeks of blue sky. Mother earth really suffers because of humans on its surface.

Have to say, normally on a sunny morning (like today's) the sky is pretty full of con trails.  Today, not a one.

I guess I'm late catching up with this, but for anyone who hasn't heard - Dawlish Minor Injuries Unit is closed while this is going on: they advise using N Abbot MIU instead.

Google flights today shows over 60 flights leaving new York today for London and that's only returns leaving 1 April and returning 2 April. We need less movement of people from hoit spots to the u.k. not more.  WTF IS GOING ON WITH OIUR GOVERNMENT. I think it's strange that ...

There are a lot of contradictions around at the moment on one hand Nurses are telling us not to wear surgical type masks and on the other hand they are telling us that they need them, but only give protection for a short while in a ward situation.  So my question is... why would they work for a short period 1 to 2 hours on a ward situation but not in Sainsburys?

@Scapegoat ....i do agree with you. To have a proper seal and test the mask for vacume and breath. Also having a clean shave and putting goggles on after you have established a proper seal on the mask. Also the correct type of mask and filters for the environment and that the filters are in date and still viable. Stay safe Scapegoat and all participants on Dawlish.com..that includes the web ...

Seems to me that some people have 'panic bought' PPE - desperately needed elsewhere - and are now trying to justify what they have done. Don't you regret anything, put it down to experience, learn from it and maybe you'll do better next time.
