Thanks for your opinions. We did intend to release a new dotNet version (aspx rather than asp) of this site at the start of the year, which would give the site more manageability. There are 2 numbers representing views & replies. Mindful is refering to replies which are on the main discussion page. The threads show views which are the number of times someone has looked at the message.

Well since you asked! :- 'Gormless' comes from the old Scots word 'gaum,' meaning 'attention or notice'. Someone who is 'gormless' lacks attention, doesn't notice things, is tuned out, vegged out, hopeless and clueless. Gorm is also an Irish word for 'Blue', but (I think) has no relation to 'gaum'. (I'm not clever, I just checked on Google!)
