Currently there is only an advisory for people not to leave new york. If u go on Google for flights out of new York there are 22 scheduled to London TODAY!
This morning passenger plane into London from New York......just read what is happening there. Are these passengers just allowed to stroll off the plane as if it is a normal day? Even if their temps are checked that is not enough. They need to be isolated straight away for min 28 days..not 14. Stop all non essential transit in and out of the country. I think it's strange that ...
There are a lot of contradictions around at the moment on one hand Nurses are telling us not to wear surgical type masks and on the other hand they are telling us that they need them, but only give protection for a short while in a ward situation. So my question is... why would they work for a short period 1 to 2 hours on a ward situation but not in Sainsburys?
@Scapegoat ....i do agree with you. To have a proper seal and test the mask for vacume and breath. Also having a clean shave and putting goggles on after you have established a proper seal on the mask. Also the correct type of mask and filters for the environment and that the filters are in date and still viable. Stay safe Scapegoat and all participants on Dawlish.com..that includes the web ...
Seems to me that some people have 'panic bought' PPE - desperately needed elsewhere - and are now trying to justify what they have done. Don't you regret anything, put it down to experience, learn from it and maybe you'll do better next time.
face masks are next to useless and give a false sense of security unless you are face-fitted and trained to use them.

I watched with interest a young couple with a baby in a pushchair sitting by the brook in the sunshine yesterday ,two older people then arrived i presume grand parents one of them took a teddy from a bag and put it in the pushchair next to the baby now thats how stupid folk are.
I dont deal with my mail for 3 days i have a litter picker so i pick it up move that days mail to one side and just leave it in the hallway. Anything that wont fit in the letterbox the postman rings the door bell and leaves it on the doorstep then same procedure i am now on day 22 of isolation and expect to be so for at least 4 months but hey it's only 271 days to Christmas.
What if your post person is infected? I would have thought someone in that target audience is potentially going to be infected just because of the size of the mail drop. Potential infection period on paper is currently quoted at up to 3 hours, I believe.
