Just to inform you that the webcam is back on,but has no sound. There technical guys hopefully will have It fixed by Monday according to their Twitter page.
New flood defence money has been announced. Cowley Bridge Junction there is no extra money but the Enviroment Agency and Network Rail are continuing to work together on that one.Dawlish Warren has been given £8.2million for new flood defences,to protect Railway Line and Houses.
The Dawlish Webcam does not operate but is on a temporary feed.That`s why you hear music and sounds in background.It only operates In daytime.There twitter page gives a link to their facebook page which gives more information.

@kenny .i keep going on to railcams website and all they say is won`t be fixed today.they say that sea spray has got into the microphone.then it lost power.do not know why.
Hi.Dawlish Webcam offline for to-night,and hopefully will be back tomorrow.With Sound,hopefully. But there again I am hoping.

@Paul .according to dawlish webcam, it does not look like it.however it looks like rain/sleet at the moment.in winchester where i live,yes we have plenty.and it is heavy snow at the moment.
@Lynne .Since I only come to Dawlish on holiday,can you tell me if the lights by the viaduct have been switched on or removed? And have the little flags around the crazy golf,have they finally been taken down? And have they got rid of that jungle in the crazy golf yet?
