Great news , well done to all involved.
Great to see the Gazette getting behind the team. Perhaps its finally dawning on them , how much a successful team, can help the town financially. 150 people in the Town at a time of year that is usually fairly dead is a major boost . It is also putting the name of the Town on the Map nationally. Hopefully some of those from Derbyshire will re-visit in the future.
Cant blame the pensioners, with free bus travel and loads of time on there hands(ha Ha) then i can understand them. £30-40 pounds difference, it must be a big family. No seriously that is a big difference for just food or are you including other items. When you consider that most thing cost a few pence more locally and alot of Veg is actually cheaper locally.
Investigator , i find myself agreeing with you. If it costs between £5-10 in petrol /wear and tear on car for each trip, then the difference in prices probably makes Dawlish cheaper to shop at.
Councillors can say what they want, to anyone who will listen. If corruption is invloved then you call the police. You are also free to put a leaflet through every door telling the population what the council is up to.As long as you are telling the truth you have nothing to fear. So stand as a councillor then .In May you will be able to change the way this town is run. After winning your seat you will be able to expose the council for what they really are. You can be the peoples champion , stopping those fat wallets from being filled and sending those bad councillors to the gutter. YOUVE GOT MY VOTE (as long as you dont go under the banner of lib/lab/con)
All i can say is well done to the posties all over the country.Out every day delivering in all weathers. When the tories/liberals/mandelson sell them off to the Germans , we can kiss goodbye to that. Councils all over the country have stopped filling grit bins due to selfish people using it to grit their own driveways.With such a shortage it does make you wonder about the brains of some people.
Why would anyone want to start a blog and asking for contributions to slag Dawlish off. A very strange site for wishy washy Liberals by the look of it.You can even download your FART on it. I wont call it art because most of it is shite.
