"The latest "big change" in coronavirus infections across the UK is of "great concern", England's deputy chief medical officer has warned. Prof Jonathan Van Tam said people have "relaxed too much" over the summer and "we have got to start taking this very seriously again". That the man has been arrested shows that he is not above the law.
Black man KILLS/MURDERS white man in Birmingham and injures others. Any riots? Any demonstrations? NO. Why? Because he is white. I'm surprised that there hasn't been huge demonstrations (as before when a black person has been arrested) outside the police station as it seems that blacks are above the law. W L M
Great ....looking forward for the Dems to abolish or reduce bin charge within their budget%uD83D%uDE02 D
Unfortunately, once planning permission has been granted, it appears that the Planning Department of TDC don't want to know. I am aware that John Petherick lives not far away, also our Mayor, Alison Foden, is just round the corner from the proposed site. Next time I spot one of the lorries causing a traffic hazard and pollution by reversing up Badlake Hill, I will get in touch with them!
So.......given as I didn't know I did what anyone with access to the internet can do - I emailed TDC and asked them. Am told that the increase was in the April 2019 budget (when TDC was controlled by the Conservatives). The Lib Dems inherited this budget when they took over control of the council in May 2019. So...... t'was Conservatives that introduced the £35 charge in the first place ...
Was £35 when the Conservative administration introduced it in 2014. Now £40 (although still £35 for those able to claim a concession). Don't know when charge got increased.
@ lynne yes got my wires mixed up there about abolishing chard however correct me if i am wrong did they increase the bin charge?
Well, you could contact TDC's planning dept. My preferred option though would be to contact a local district councillor. I'm guessing you live in Dawlish South West ward. You have two district councillors there - Gary Taylor and John Petherick. In this particular instance I would contact John Petherick. Why? Because he is a member of TDC's planning committee and also because of where ...
This is all very well and covers all behinds but who does one actually contact when something is going on which is in infringement of these conditions?
