This planning application has been withdrawn but with a view to a revised one being submitted in its place.
Staff have worked hard all day to clear the snow and ice from the car park. Due to the forecast of more snow and a yellow ice warning place till 11 am Monday the site will remain closed. Be better of spending the same one on a used laptop that already has a monitor and hard drive. Unless you are sitting at a desk with an available monitor it's pretty useless. In this day and age you can get a reasonable used desktop for the same money with more power and storage.

Personally, I think the current planning application should be passed as something needs to be done about this festering eyesore. What would be the point of the council issuing a Compulsory Purchase Order? It would be another property with no purpose which needs expensive maintenance funded by our Council Tax, in much the same way that the Manor needs ongoing maintenance, mainly due to its age. To ...

Daw Vale Care Home closed back in 2015. There have since been 3 planning applications (in 2016,2017 and 2018) to develop the site but none of them came to anything.
