Soooo, who's been defacing all the Tory posters in Holcombe? I won't be voting for them but I disagree with the Criminal Damage. It has to be a left thinking person who doesn't believe in Democracy - doesn't it?
Free compost to allotment holders if they've paid their £35 AND anyone else who joins the scheme.
@neilh Don't understand - surely you didn't think St George was English? Just as St Patrick isn't Irish and St Andrew isn't Scottish. In fact the only native patron saint in Gt Britain (or the UK for that matter) is St David. PS: St Gregory the Great wasn't born in Dawlish!
I've never voted UKIP but I've just read (summarised version) their manifesto. I have to say that there is little or nothing that I disagree with.
You can be too close to a mast. For example there is a dead spot for mobile signals around the Ashcombe Cross mast. I can't be of anymore help I'm afraid - the whole thing of mobile comms (except radios) is beyond me!
@A Frame I'd kind of (with exceptions for older people and the disabled etc) agree with you.....but only if there is is a garden waste or Community Composting Scheme in place locally (which does not include a 15 mile round trip - N. Abbot) where we could take our garden waste. So why not set that up, charge the £35 for a membership card, and allow members to take the finished compost ...

I can confirm that Gregory and Angela Fenne are husband and wife. Both are stalwarts of the Legion who brought you Party In The Park, The Christmas Concert, Armed Forces Day, Armed Forces Day Bowling Comp day (etc, etc) and, above all, Remembrance Day (not forgetting the 2 weeks of the Poppy Appeal that goes with it). Both are also Standard Bearers who represent the Dawlish Branch throughout ...
I agree 100% with 'verbatim'. It's all about the 'P's. Vote based on Policies. Don't vote for the Party. Don't vote for the Personality. Don't vote for the Propaganda. Vote for Published Policies - and Pray they keep their Promises! If they don't they can expect some Payback next time around.
