@Teddy Bears , i walked past the window just this afternoon & thought how nice it looked. unfortunately, mine are just a bit too old for teddies & the like now but it's nice to see that someone is making an effort. you're not too far away from gay's so might benefit from some of their customers wandering past. good luck for the festive season.

I sometimes wonder if people would say exactly the same things if they were in a face to face situation with whoever they're addressing via this forum. I suppose the answer's obvious.
(a) Bankers - only they don't wait for any special offers & (b) politicians - who charge it to the general public anyway. I'm sure there'll be other suggestions.
I presume that "erroneous spending" means that they don't know where the money has gone. I feel like that towards the end of the month but at least I don't get anyone else to pay my bills. We are mugs!

I presume this should have read Barton Hill. Have not seen any other reports about it so have no idea what she was up to unless she was looking for an outfit for the Christmas party.
On a practical note, the trees act as a wind break and also soak up a great deal of water from the Lawn.
