I was thinking the same, there are decent pubs in Dawlish. The Lansdowne is what it is, some people must like it otherwise it would shut. Try using another pub.
Just found the line up . Hmmm, if belinda carlisle is the headliner then the whole thing is doomed to failure. Sorry but this is a woman who usually plays venues of less then 500 these days, and they tend to be part of a meal/singer /comedian type evening. Bay City rollers may still fill a 1000 seat hall, at a push, but have no appeal at all to most people. Myself i couldnt think of anything ...

Love the post about skinhead , swastika and broken bottle. Just one problem , you cant always believe/take things at 1st site. Lately the newspapers have shown a picture of a skinhead, with a swastika on his arm giving the nazi salute. He was pictured on an EDL march. Hate to say it but this isnt something new to this generation. It has been happening since schools began. Life is what you make it.
The football shirt story was true, the chief constable had to quickly backtrack on what he said , and claimed he was miss quoted. What he claims he said was pubs that didnt want customers wearing football shirts, would be backed up by the police, if they refused to leave.

Id have no problem if they brought in an i.d card. What i do have a problem with is paying for it.
