General Discussion

She must be sick and tired of the stupid comments. I am.  I see on the other thread she was called an 'outsider' ..how nice, . .no wonder she cant be bothered with the likes on here.. Maybe time to remove the discussion page based on thr nasty comments that people feel  need to place towards each other and what a poor light it shows Dawlish to be, be it true.

Of course Boris is right, Have you ever known anyone with a low IQ to reach to a high place!

I think by now Smella will have made up her mind on Dawlish people. Difficult to believe this post is suppose to be about kniitting. Mrs C ex Anglicav Bishop last week said 'in 25 years the Anglican church will be no more unless they do something' ...Christian religion is man made and thats why its not being followed as much based on its scare of judgement. Its not working.  Just do the best ...

Its a pretty town but the people let it down by not being forward thinking, certainly dont welcome new people. Glad I got out! Try the knitting shops in Newton Abbot near ths station they would help.  Bigger towns have more going on.

Marina is a good idea but I dont know if the sea is a bit too rough for it at times. I have always thought a regular ferry to and from Dawlish to Exmouth would be popularand add on Torquay in high summer with a proper timetable. Would bring people to each resort..so all gain.

Lorries currently negotiate High Street to Queen Street and coaches from Brumswick to the main car park or to the right ..so reverse the traffic outwards in High Street,  Inwards into town via Brunswick with free parking along there ..so people can just walk over the lawn. Straind is then car free and links to the lawn. Coop still to deliver at the rear so no problem there. Any parcels can ...

Only way the Strand will be pleasant is without cars ..but they wont let that happen... so meanwhile other towns flourish where no cars.
