Coincidentally I had to sort out someone elses doggy-dos deposited right infront of my little front (not Dawlish) gate yesterday.
Oh well, at least one upside of the storms was getting the beach totally clean. But seriously, I think tourists from urban areas are very used to dog issues. In G.London it is almost impossible now to find a park where dogs are not a thorough nuisance in all respects including being threatening. Very interesting 'fly through' to watch on the interactive. I may be wrong but it seems that there planned new are east and west chords to the mainline railway into a 'freight terminal'. The interesting thing is that it heads fairly directly towards the runway but stops short of it .... so while constructing it, surely there would be some sense in extending it just a little further and bingo you ...
@leatash - totnes has some exemplary flower beds on the platform. makes passengers think, 'this is a town where people care about things'. well it does to me anyway! @Lynne - a few years ago hundreds of tonnes of timber spectacularly washed up on worthing beach from a ship. there is now a stained glass display of the event along the windbreak on the pier. so yes, good idea to make a ...
