General Discussion

so you did! .. now we see the people behind the big protest, wow they sure have the 'X factor' lol. Regardless of where the store is, I would prefer to shop at Sainsburys but I doubt if Dawlish will, the store though will have a wide appeal from the Exminster/Dawlish Warren catchment.

No chance .. far too up market for Dawlish.

OK MANY OF YOU KNOW ABOUT THE TESCOS STORE AND THE DEVELOPMENT ON THE DAWLISH TOWN PITCH , AND MANY OF YOU HAVE SEEN THE SKATEBOARD FUNDING , BUT HOW MANY OF YOU REALLY CARE ,,, DAWLISH UNITED FOOTBALL CLUB , HAVE OVER 250 CHILDREN , YET KNOW ONE CONSIDERS THEM , THEY ARE BEING FORCED OUT OF SANDY LANE GROUNDS AND NOT ONE PERSON IS WORRIED THAT THE YOUTH OF FOOTBALL HAVE NO WERE TO PLAY , ITS OK ...

Nikki .. I order online once a month, once you have had a delivery they regularly email and offer you a £5 off when you spend £50 or more. The delivery charge is £3.99 if you select a daytime slot. I think its easier online as so many people round the stores and I only buy online what I need so less spend. Am sure one day people will wonder why people wanted big stores when you can shop at home.

Has been since the new refit. Nobody likes Tesco so lets have a Sainsburys, but then they have more sense.lol.

You can then carry on working and the order is delivered to the door. If Tesco arrives, maybe Costcutter and Coop will close, guess that will make people happy. The ...

Given the consistant negative postings about Dawlish, any large Supermarket would be mad to set up here. Their trade will be from outside, not local. It is a known fact that people like to shop away, something about the grass greener on the other side or a day out.. drive in a car! If Tesco is the only thing that is going to make some people in Dawlish actually smile and be positive about (whats ...

SKATE RESULT!!
28 Nov 2007

Yes true. I am not sure that it was a genuine result, if as they say on here everyone wanting it telephoned as many as 10 times each! Shame the kids are unable to fill their time with good/learn of some sort rather than just skate around.

It will be interesting to see the vote result .. but Dawlish is up against a community spirited entry in Bude.
