I'll be very happy for this to go through as more residents will hopefully allow us to have a Lidl and Tesco, or at the very least a Lidl and expanded Sainsburys. Then we'll all save a fortune on petrol and produce less of this 'greenhouse gas' which I keep getting told is bad for the environment.

Sainsburys have brought a very wide range of products to Dawlish that previously meant a trip to Exeter or Torquay, I recently bought a PC printer using 'click and collect'. Same price as everyone else I checked online but a major saving as no time or petrol needed, and the printer was delivered to the Dawlish store 24hours after my online order was placed. The only people who know what Cofton needs are the owners, they are clearly not going to invest many thousands of pounds into developments that customers don't want. More space and facilities were clearly needed as the previous posts say, being overcrowded is not good for repeat business.
This area desperately needs housing, the sooner the better.
What about all the Pensioners who have never bothered to apply for Winter Fuel allowance or a free bus pass because they don't need it.
