I'm not sure that I have read anywhere that the vaccine is seen as a cure all. It has been made clear that having the vaccine will not necessarily stop people getting the virus. The vaccine will, however, stop people getting as ill as they might have done if they had not been vacccinated. And if vaccinated people can still get the virus then they can pass it on to others. Anyone got eyes on?
Why shouldn't people travel to the south west - or anywhere else - for a holiday, not everyone is fortunate enough to live in a nice place like Dawlish. And if there is another lockdown it will either mean billions have been spent on vaccines that don't work, or this is not just about a virus.

The holiday makers are here because the government is allowing them to be here. That is Johnson's policy just as it is the Johnson covid variant that is spreading with ease right now. The blame lies ( appropriate word that - lies) at the door of 10 Downing Street.
Brexit has nothing to do with the massive lack of lorry drivers in the UK? Nothing to do with the massive lack of hardworking people to pick and pack fresh food from our fields? Right-oh Paul, you're in cloud cuckoo land.
