I've just heard that there is no more funding for the trees for Woodland Trust for at least the next two years. This seriously affects community projects which are being encouraged to plant trees for ecological and environmental reasons. The government is being petitioned to rectify this position. Agreed. I'd always been a bit scathing of him but he had some interesting perspectives and, although he lacked some of the detail that Paxman was looking for, he put across some compelling arguments quite cogently.

@FredBassett . Agreed everyone has their own view on what is valid or not. I was just trying to find out what you thought were valid points of the BNP and EDL because you made the statement without substantiating it with some examples. Just saying that they have valid points doesn't get us very far.
