This is not the end Neither is it the beginning of the end But it is the end of the beginning. Or is it? 'Someone help me, help me, Help me pleeeeeeessse Is the answer up above.................'? I've tried to talk on this really brilliant Dawlish website. Something interesting, topical,Funny, rude, dirty, even 'Something stupid.......... ' 'Something old, something new, something 'boring' ...
Actually, I've just thought of three interesting subjects that'll bring the postings flooding in. 1) Bow Windows.(The state of) 2) Dog Mess. (The state of) 3) Dawlish. (The state of) Talking of dogs (which we weren't) I've also just read two jolly good books.(Jolly - now there's a word not often used). (Please excuse all the brackets!) Dog Pooh In & Around Dawlish by Chris Rap Dog Mess On ...
As it is, the forum allows freedom of expression. That is the point of it, people can talk about anything and everything (well, nearly everything.Mind you,if there are any young ladies out there?????.............). The recent postings have been sent to try and stimulate some interest. At the moment it IS dead, nothing, nothingness, zilch.(hence my last posting of Days in the Sun). Probably the ...
I think you really mean that most of the residents of Dawlish (ie zombies) are brain dead?
Ahh.Lunchtime. Doo Dee Doo Dee Doo Dum Dee Dum Dee Dum Doo Dee Doo Dee Doo Hello, is anyone out there? Is anybody alive? Hello!!! Here's a poem I wrote years back when I worked in a large drawing office. I can relate this to Dawlish. Sad time for all mankind The summer is melting away so fast Harvest and autumn will soon be past Where does it go, I just don't know How I long for the ...
Hmmmm. Yes, Well. See, its this young lady in the flat opposite. She will open the curtains to her bedroom window each morning wearing nothing but a smile. Puts me right off, it does. I just can't bear to look.........................away.
Check out the Blenheim's website.Their No.1 Marine Parade and within spitting distance of the beach. Also there is the 'poo' coloured building further along with two towers, can't recall its name though. The Marine Hotel is next to the Blenheim, they might also do B & B.
To spread the net wider what about resorts in North Devon. How do they compare to the South? People I've spoken to think Ilfracombe is down market although I quite like it. Woolacombe is boring, just for the surfers, no character at all. Combe Martin is pleasant enough and because of their dramatic locations, Lynmouth will always attract tourists, so will Clovelly. Barnstaple & Bideford, can't ...
Perhaps the lack of hotels, B & B's, and Holiday flats in Dawlish is its appeal to many people, with the Holiday parks being in Dawlish Warren. Very few tourists about during the week so never gets crowded. Just the day trippers at weekends. Dawlish is what I call a Low key resort.
The Blenheim can be recommended as a B & B. Generally it is self catering rooms but B & B is an option with breakfast served in the room. The current owners have been there nearly 20 years. Check out their website. Easy.
