Those who didn't want a play park anywhere on the lawn had the option to select "No" against each of the questions. The results were overwhelmingly in favour so, using a phrase that I believe to be favoured by Brexity Rollers, "Get over it".

@DEEDOODLE . even though you've stated on here that you're an ex-policeman, you clearly have no idea about cycling or the laws around road usage, so i think that it's probably better that we agree to disagree. DISCLAIMER: I respect all road users.
@Majorlyangryp. We must be rambling on about different barriers in Dawlish, me old fruit. I'm banging on about the harmless barrier put in place to protect the cygnets, whilst you're referring to an actual accident (involving you????) elsewhere in Dawlish. Where there's blame there's a claim. I hope you get the help you need.
@leatash . not even scotland?? ;-)
Sincerest best wishes to you. https://www.networkrail.co.uk/industry-commercial-partners/network-rail-property/property-services/
Thank you Flo for your eloquent post. I will take part in the survey and smile wryly at those who question the need for it.
Well personally I think that this is excellent news and I'm looking forward to seeing the improvements next year.
It always makes me smile wryly when people assume that in-store grocery prices are going to be the same as online prices. Oh, and for the sake of accuracy, there's no such store as "Bargains Galore" in Kingsteignton. It's "Home Bargains", who are one of those short shelf life merchants.
Correct. But they only allow franchises to open in places where the business would be viable. And they obviously realise that one would be in Dawlish.
Thanks for sharing that about Tucks Plot. IIRC, this is confirmation of what was mooted earlier this year or late last year. Hopefully a business will take on the lease and create an Adventure Golf course like the excellent ones at the Warren and (dare I say it) Teignmouth.
It would appear that the initial thread got too long, hence part two opening.
Yep. All teenagers are vandals. FACT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Teignmouth (where certain correspondents spend more time than in Dawlish) play park doesn't get vandalised, so why would one in Dawlish???????????????????????? Such ignorance and prejudice by so-called adults says more about the elderly than the youth.
Brex City Rollers meets Greenpeace. You couldn't make it up.
Really pleased that a date has been announced for the official opening of our fantastic new countryside park. I'm sure it'll be a great attraction for locals and visitors alike.
