Any chance of someone taking some more pic's of the progress so far. A miles away from Dawlish at the moment and would love to see an update. Thanks in advance.

I asked if someone would take some up to date pics and am very grateful for these. As far as I can see, so far, it really is looking promising. My only reservations, at this stage, would be about lorries getting jammed up on the way down The Strand and will anyone want to use the footpath on the oppsite side to the shops. According to Traveline.com the train leaves Exeter Central at 18.35 which is much nearer to the bus station especially if you have luggage.

I see so it will be OK to trash the whole town so that the scruffier charity shops can make a bigger profit. Perhaps by letting the roads deteriorate and by not carrying out any maintenance in the town Dawlish can make it's name as a slum tourist attraction. Just for the record I am not against charity shops, I just want them to clean up their act to the benefit of the whole community and not just ...
