Anyone know what the strange oil rig type thing is out in the bay?
Does anyone know who owns 13 Weech Rd, the derelict rectory which is a listed building. Hw come it's been left to fall into such disrepair . Despite several interventions by the heritage people. It is a disgrace. The owner should have been made to repair it or the council should have stepped in and billed the owner for repairs. I presume the owner is waiting for it to fall down, so they can build ...
Wish they did real coffee. not instant. Only needa few cafetieres. Apart from that it's nice to have a cafe there again.
It idnt take long the tories have just signed a £780 million privatisation deal with 11 companies, some of whom been taken to task for sub standard care. You were warned.
Hope all the tory voters will be happy when our NHS is privatised, and all our remaining family silver is sold. Shame on you.
Most rents are more than the average mortgage costs. Also all thesenew houses what about the infrastructure. Harder and harder to get a doctors appointment. What about schools. More traffic in the town, it's not all good. It seems landlords are doing OK. Considering the low wages in Dawlish, rents are high.
More to it than that, Ivan was provoked by a bully. culminating in the attack. Not excusing violence, but shouldn't judge until all facts are known. Ivan is a good man and this is devastating for him. Hope thevictimwill think twice before bullying anyone else.

On the back road between Dawlish Warren and Cockwood, at the crossing to the river over the railway by the layby. He's lying on the side of the path to the crossing. I think maybe someone picked him up from the river as he is wet and muddy. As a dog lover myself you have my heartfelt ...
Thanks Brazilnut. That's a usefull site. Wasn't on it though. Not big enough maybe.
How ridiculous! Perhaps 007 would like a law passed forbidding single mothers and those without a job from drinking coffee. And what would you suggest a single mother actually do "To pay for themselves"? Any idea how much child care costs? Probably more than a local unskilled wage. Well said Nelson. By the way, how do you know these people are in the cafes? Surely you're too busy working to see ...
Hmmm. It seems that not all Dawlish shops are concerned about a lack of trade. I went in to The Wee Shopee bakery today to buy 8 bread rolls. Not a difficult task you would think. Wrong! Despite there being plenty of rolls on the counter, they were packed in 4s (1 pack only) and 6s. Can you do me 8, I asked. No came the reply. Not the first time this has happened. Strange as the rolls were ...
