Never Mind - try looking at "Dawlish is Going Down Hill", "School" and "Dawlish" threads just for starters. It also seems that I am not the first to feel that Backyard threads are mostly negative. No-one has stopped anyone from making comments on Backyard. The comment I made on my original posting on "Positive Things About Dawlish" was for there to be positive comments only on that THREAD - not on Backyard in general. It would seem that many of you have taken my comment to mean more than it did and to give me more power than I have - I cannot stop you from making the type of comments you ...

"Don't Care" - you say if you don't like a thread then don't read it. Unless I'm missing something here I believe the ONLY way I can know what's on a thread is by reading it. What else do you suggest?

Yes I thought the Ugly Duckling outside eating area last year was great. Very continental. Hope they get permission to do it again.

I am absolutely fed up with the continual negative comments about Dawlish on this forum. As has been said on another thread, anyone thinking of starting up a business or thinking of moving here would be put off for ever if they took to reading the vast majority of the postings on Backyard. I LOVE Dawlish. Positive postings only please on this thread.
