Looking at one of the last topics mademe think I was reading the Daily Mail, who has the right to tell anyone what to put here unless of course it is abusive.
I noticed there are less people thsn usual contributing is this because there are those out there who dislike anything they dont agree with and have stopped free debate

No-one has stopped anyone from making comments on Backyard.

The comment I made on my original posting on "Positive Things About Dawlish" was for there to be positive comments only on that THREAD - not on Backyard in general.

It would seem that many of you have taken my comment to mean more than it did and to give me more power than I have - I cannot stop you from making the type of comments you usually make - you have stopped yourselves.

What I am intolerant of is the constant whingeing and whining that takes place on the vast majority of threads on Backyard. That is not necessarily the same as constructive criticism.

Of course I uphold freedom of speech. What I don't uphold is its abuse.
