Dawlish News

A number of months ago I think April this year there was a public meeting on this very subject at the Manor. The question was asked of the panel about alcohol and drugs in Dawlish.  In short the answer given was that the alkies and drugies are well known to the authorities, but we can't stop them enjoying themselves even though they harrass and intimidate tourists and locals alike. Somedays there ...

The vendetta against you David is the fact you KNEW what you were doing. When i voluteered for the carnival it seemed to me to be poorly organised. I would volunteer again if i knew David Force was involved.  If i remember but not sure that David Force was getting flak from some family members over this. I agree with user 4549....................... I for one Vote for David Force. He is an ...

I wonder why volunteers have not come forward. I volunteered two years ago for the carnival and for the air show and my opinion on how it was organised was just massive confusion. It seemed to me that there were two many cheifs but many Indians looking for guidence and information as to what is required of them. Nelson,  yes i was very aware of the flooding but the brook lights had been out long before that as stated in older post's.  From how i read your post's you have been a regular on this forum, so tell me how long has the big swan lights by the viaduct been out? As for me i have only been here since May 2011. I chose to live in Dawlish for the charm of the town and the ease of getting around by ...

As the statement has been made about the famous black swans in Dawlish why have the two main swan lights at the viaduct never been on, or fixed if they are broken. This little town has charm lots of charm but there is very little for the tourist to see or do. I'm not saying be like Torquay or any other major resorts, Dawlish has it's own character. It has been said before what's happened to the ...
