Harbour fish bar Teignmouth. Fish and chips as they should be freshly cooked and Russel and his missus always have time for a chat. None of the Dawlish chippys compare. Grab a wooden fork and take them up the point carpark to eat them cant be beaten on a nice summer evening

@memoryman . unfortunately having been around the fuel supply business with a leading distributor. supermarket fuel is exactly as you describe it. i.e watered down. not however with water but with additives which normally comprise of detergent and octane booster. yes petrol is petrol but only as far as the big storage and distribution depots as plymouth and avonmouth. its when the tankers fill up ...

Hi Lynne how about a little bet. Which one of the usual moaners on here is going to be the first to complain about how expensive Sainsbury's is. From what I can see they dont appear to be that cheap and I think some humble pie may have to be eaten on here Deisel 139.9 = 2p dearer than Tesco Teignmouth and only 1p cheaper than Marine. Now 1p more for a far better quality product and better ...

You mean the ones that break all the roadside advertising laws and require special planning consent which they dont actually have. The ones that Teignbridge planning department wont take action against because they say they will be removed when the store opens. We will see

Actually own more than one retail and service outlet in Dawlish and Teignmouth and I mean OWN dont rent with a capital investment in excess of 1-million pounds money which my family brought into and invested in the towns. The reason for my screen name is what a lot of people will take you for if you let them. So be careful and good luck. The lack of shops in Dawlish is a combination of a Duff ...

Bet youll be first in the queue then Lynne. Or maybe AndyMac is already camping there ready to claim the £500 shopping voucher or a minimum wage job. Hope you bag some real bargins and are made to feel really welcome but remember a couple of things about how they treat their suppliers, staff and local competition. And also how you'll help their shareholders bonusses, but remember for every pound ...

That sounds rather convienient, any guesses whats going to happen to the ground then. Supermarket maybe ? Perhaps the VFD or Sainsbury's can bail out the club. More grim news for the Town. Somebody seriously needs to get a grip of whats happening to this Town. I think its time for another parish meeting and lets have an open agenda . Post your discussion topics here and lets see if there is ...

Thank you Dawlish!!!

Still Morris & Mcginn for me, funny how these outsiders always try to take a bit of what someone else has been doing for years, what we need is new ideas and new businesses with new products. What happened to customer loyalty ha ha ha

How about turning this around and fining the stupid cyclists who dont use the paths provided and continue to dice with death on the road. Until you pay road tax, have an annual safety check on your cycle, and have insurance to cover any third party damaged should you fall off your reched machines, Then you have no right on the roads anyway Not long till the much needed supermarket opens so the ...
