Like most people (even if they won't admit it) much of my family's food shopping is done at a big supermarket so not having to drive so far saves money and time. However there are some things they don't sell that I can get at shops such as Poppadums and nobody can beat the doughnuts at Wee Shoppe! So handy but not the be all and end all.

You can't build anything on the lawn - it's in a flood plain and environment agency won't allow it. One of the ideas mooted was for parking by Ugly Duckling but that won't happen either. That's what knocked the idea of a new bandstand on the head. If you knock it down you won't get planning permission to replace it - absolutely blinkin' ludicrous. Blast! Deleted before I read it..... On the subject of invented language, I bought a book called The Book of Dave which had it's own language in it. I gave up - found it too tedious to even bother with - may well have been a good story but never got to it, I find the same with Rainbow1's style of posting sadly.
Not bullying, exchange of opinions with some personalities being more forceful/direct/blunt than others. No different and a lot milder than other forums I have previously been to.
He/she talks like an idiot to disguise a reasonable brain with occasional valid points - interspersed with drivel and personal insults.
