Can people please share what their water bills are per month as I have et to find anyone else paying this much. How can I question if I am being overcharged?
Following the new year I have been looking at my financial situation and ways to cut down a few pounds each month. An alarming amount of £115.89 per month is paid in water rates alone and was wondering if this is right? I'm sure it is but was wondering how everyone else was comparing with this. I am currently unmetered and have now applied to go on a meter but am aware that my last ...
I took my son to the dentist on shutterton over the Easter holidays. I'd never noticed the food van before so whilst we were there we had some food from the catering trailer on the estate there. Nice clean van and lovely food - I have to say, the best I have had from any burger van and a good choice of healthy or non healthy options. Why do we need a McDonald's, KFC or other big money maker when ...
Memoryman - I am so glad that you have received compensation for your inconvenience in inconsistant service provided by orange over the last few months. I have been in regular contact with customer services about the problem and was told to contact them once the issue had been resolved. However, I have recently received a letter from their correspondance team to thank me for contacting them about ...
Could it be that Dawlish recycling centre was closed to enable Sainsbury's a back entrance for their delivery lorries off Shutterton estate? Apparantly Sainsburys are not allowed to bring their main delivery lorries in through the general public access off the main road. In a recent converastion with a Sainsburys contract worker over a pint of beer one night in a Dawlish pub he became very cagey ...
Apparantly since 11th May Orange have confirmed that there has been a mast down in Dawlish Warren causing no end of grief to people on this network in the local area. There is no confirmed date for completion of this repair. I am fed up of not being able to make or receive calls, or if I am in a call get cut off mid flow. Would this coincide with the Sainsburys development? I would advise anyone ...
@Lynne When you say that you are a secondary school teacher but "thankfully not in Dawlish" I am just curious to know why you feel that way. Any chance you could elaborate? I would be embarrassed and saddened to be a teacher in a school which has had quite a lot of bad press about it and one which did not have the locally community fully supporting it. I teach in a school where we have made ...
@EmJarvo I am sorry to hear about all the troubles your family have been through and hope that Tom is now feeling better in himself and trying to put the past slowly but surely behind him. As a secondary school teacher myself (thankfully not in Dawlish) I am disappointed with some schools responses to bullying. It is very easy in schools for some students to become the victim, but very difficult ...
