Maybe we should try harder to make it the case? Comments like " It always seems to be by the same few." don't help. When someone throws insults around don't throw them back etc.
We have worked to correct the indoctrination of religion over recent history. We still have work to do but laws/attitudes over the last 40 years are moving in the right direction.
The bible is a collection of books written (made up) by men so why do you think it would say anything other than control over women given the time these stories were written?
I agree. As we still don't know the long-term effects of vaping we shouldn't be providing it. People should get support to stop but replacing one addiction thing with another even if currently appears "healthier" is not a solution.
I will happily debate/discuss any subject with anyone but there is no need for insults about the subject of the discussion (if a person or persons) or the person you are discussing with. The people on here have differing opinions and that is a good thing as it should allow for a good discussion but once insults start flying around the discussion quickly goes off the subject. No, you can have the opinion without the insults. The opinion that women shouldn't wear the burqa is fine and valid but the insults are not needed when discussing it.
