Sorry to apear thick, but can someone tell me exactly what is the meaning of SANGS . I have seen it mentioned a few times but could find no referrence as to it's meaning. Thank you in advance.

@Lynne Thanks for adding the clickable link and highlighting the NNR walk in this thread about walks. Why the accusation of 'hijacking', I don't know. But then again!!!

Although I am not in favour of carrying a gun, it seems that some people here have ignored/overlooked the fact that some 'honest lawabiding UK citizens' were planning to behead a member of the public in our country.

Let's show our support by lining the route tomorrow (9th Nov) afternoon and cheering/applauding those who take part. Fly the flag. Wear your Poppy with pride. I will, and I do.

A lot of them congregate on the Exe estuary around the Cockwood (especially on the golf course at high tide) and Starcross area and up at Bowling Green Marsh in Topsham. You will also find lots of them at the far end of the Warren. Cant say I have seen them in the Teign estuary though.

What a great picture of the members of Dawlish Royal British Legion standing to attention behind their standard under the Menin Gate in Ypres, Belgium , and what a great honour for you all to be able to do that. Well done lads, and lasses.. Once again, you have done Dawlish proud. Thank you.
